Generally, the chromium content in stainless steel shall be at least 10.5%. - The corrosion resistance is different.

Stainless steel is mainly nickel chromium alloy, which is corrosion resistant. If corrosion resistance is required for the products produced, stainless steel is recommended. But the cost of stainless steel is higher than that of aluminum alloy.

The price of aluminum alloy shell and stainless steel enclosure depends not only on the cost of raw materials, but also on their own processing difficulties. Compared with stainless steel, aluminum alloy has lower hardness and is easy to cut and shape.
