Production process of aluminum enclosure:
- Melting and casting is the first process of aluminum production. The main processes are:
- Ingredients: calculate the addition amount of various alloys according to the specific alloy brand to be produced, and reasonably match various raw materials.
- Smelting: add the prepared raw materials into the smelting furnace for melting according to the process requirements.
- Casting: molten aluminum is cooled and cast into round cast rods of various specifications through deep well casting system under certain casting process conditions.
- Extrusion: extrusion is a means of profile forming. First, a die is designed and manufactured according to the section of aluminum profile, and the heated round cast rod is extruded from the die by an extruder. The commonly used brand is 6063 alloy. During extrusion, an air-cooled quenching process is used to complete heat treatment strengthening.
- Coloring (oxidation and electrophoresis processes are mainly discussed here).
Elements needing attention in stamping of aluminum enclosure
- Aluminum alloy material is soft, in order to prevent deformation and displacement of aluminum alloy during stamping. Accurate positioning must be set on the stamping die, and the positioning device needs a smooth surface without water chestnut. This can effectively reduce the aluminum alloy enclosurestamping caused by bad;
- Reasonably design the die clearance to prevent bulge and angle collapse of the aluminum alloy enclosure;
- When designing the structure of the aluminum alloy enclosure, try to avoid the occurrence of deep sunk holes, because most of the processes behind the aluminum alloy enclosureneed anodic oxidation, and the deep sunk holes are easy to hide acid during anodic oxidation;
- All cutting edges of the die shall be cut with slow thread, because the cutting edges of the die cut with fast and medium thread are not flat, and burr and dog tooth are easy to appear at the cutting edge of the aluminum alloy enclosureduring stamping; When stamping the aluminum alloy enclosure, the aluminum alloy plate shall be pasted with PE film. PE film can effectively reduce scratching and crushing;
- During the production process, keep the mold, stamping platform and transfer blister tray clean and free of impurities; Aluminum alloy is a good conductor of heat, which is easy to conduct heat and heat. Therefore, aluminum alloy stamping oil needs to be often applied on materials and dies to cool down, which can also play the role of lubrication;
- During production, if the burr of aluminum alloy enclosureis too large or the edge collapses, contact the mold department as soon as possible to repair the mold for production.
