The general principle of producing an anodic oxide film of an anodized aluminum plate is that the aluminum plate is placed in the electrolyte solution as the anode, and the electrolytic effect is used to make the appearance of the aluminum oxide film.

 

The selection of anodic oxidation electrolyte shall be determined according to the different requirements of the application of the oxide film. For example, for the thick film with the intention of decoration, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, the selected electrolyte shall have a slight dissolving effect on the oxide film. To obtain a thin and fine oxide film, an electrolyte that is almost insoluble in the oxide film is selected. The commonly used anodizing electrolytes in the industry include sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, chromic acid, and some sulfonic organic acids.

 

The anodizing manufacturing method of anodized aluminum plate is complicated. According to the current mode, it can be divided into DC anodizing, AC anodizing, and pulse current anodizing, which can shorten the production time to reach the required thickness, the film is thick and uniform, and the corrosion resistance is significantly improved; According to the electrolyte, it can be divided into sulfuric acid, monoacid, chromic acid, mixed acid and natural coloring anodic oxidation with sulfonic organic acid as the main solution; According to the properties of the film, it can be divided into general film, hard film (thick film), porcelain film, bright finishing layer, semiconductor effect barrier layer and other anodizing.

 

Among many anodizing methods, the direct current sulfuric acid anodizing method is most widely used because it is suitable for Anodizing aluminum and most aluminum alloys; The film is thick, hard, and wear-resistant, and better corrosion resistance can be obtained after sealing the hole; The film is colorless and bright, with strong adsorption capacity and easy to be colored; Low processing voltage and low power consumption; The processing process does not need to change the voltage cycle, which is conducive to continuous production and completion of operation automation; Sulfuric acid is less harmful to people than chromic acid. It has the advantages of wide supply and low price. This method is mostly used in the construction of aluminum profile surface treatment production lines in China.

First: visual inspection; The surface of an anodized aluminum plate has a strong metal texture.

 

Second: listen to the sound; Put the anodized aluminum plate on the ear and bend it. There will be a slight cracking "hissing" sound, which is caused by the cracking of the oxide film caused by the bending of the anodized aluminum plate. There is no such sound when the nonanodized aluminum plate is bent.

 

Third: visual inspection; When the anodized aluminum plate is made into a 90-degree T-bend, the T-bend of the anodized aluminum plate will be slightly white, which is due to the bursting of the anodized film. There is no such phenomenon in a non-anodized aluminum plate.
